#FitiWin Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Fi Life's #FitiWin ("the Contest") is organised by Fi Life Sdn Bhd ("the Organiser").
  2. The Contest starts from 5 February 2021 and the closing date for submission is by 7th March 2021. Entries received after 11.59pm on 7th March 2021 (or such extended closing date determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser) incomplete will not be accepted and will be disqualified.
  3. The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the contest period at any time without any prior notice to any party whatsoever. Unless otherwise varied to the contrary by the Organiser, any participation in the Contest during the extended period (if any) shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions set out herein which shall remain in full force and effect at all times.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the contest mechanisms, withdraw or terminate this Contest at any time at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice to any person.

    5. ELIGIBILITY

  5. The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens, age 18 and above, residing in Malaysia only ("Eligible Participants").
  6. The children of the eligible participants should be below 18 years old.
  7. Employees of the Organiser, StashAway Malaysia Sdn Bhd, its affiliates and/or related companies and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

    8. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  8. By submitting the entries, all Participants agree and acknowledge that all the Participant’s personal information including without limitation the Participant’s name, video entry or image for purposes of the Contests, including advertising, publicity, marketing and promotional activities conducted in such manner as the Organiser sees fit, in any media and without additional compensation, notification or permission, and any other activities that are ancillary to the Contest.
  9. The organiser's decision for the grand prize is final, conclusive and binding. No further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained.

    10. HOW TO SUBMIT

  10. Participants can create a photo or a video, not limited to any length or presentation format depicting the theme of family and angpao.
  11. This photo or video can be shared on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. The video needs to be made public to be reviewed by the organiser.
  12. Participants need to tag both Fi Life and StashAway Malaysian and follow Fi Life’s social media account.
  13. Participants can then direct message Fi Life on Facebook or Instagram the link of the published video, alongside their personal details of name, IC, mobile number and address.
  14. Eligible Participants who have completed the steps above are deemed to have made an Entry into the Contest.
  15. An Eligible Participant can have multiple entries for the Contest.

    16. PARTICIPATION PRIZE

  16. All Eligible Participants with an Entry into the Contest will receive Fi Life’s Financial Planner, 20% cash rebate for the organiser’s first-year term life insurance premiums, a 50% promo code off StashAway's management fees for 6 months (the “Participation Prize”), subject to availability, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

    17. GRAND PRIZE

  17. The Grand Prize will be given to the entry photo or video with the most combined likes on both Facebook and Instagram. The final number of likes will be reviewed on 10 March 2021.
  18. The Grand Prize Winner shall receive a RM1,888 angpao in the form of cash rebate of one (1) year’s annual premium for a Fi Life policy. The additional monetary value after deducting the cost of the premium will be the portion to be invested on StashAway’s platform. There will also be a lifetime 50% promo code off StashAway's management fees, as well as StashAway T-Shirt and Facemask (the “Grand Prize”).
  19. The Grand Prize Winner must have an annual payment policy in force with Fi Life to claim the Grand Prize. If no policy is in force, Fi Life will endeavor to assist the Grand Prize Winner in purchasing a valid policy, so that the Grand Prize may be awarded.
  20. Each policy included in the Grand Prize rebate must be in force for above 15 days (the “Cooling Off Period”) to be eligible for the Grand Prize.
  21. The Grand Prize Winner can choose to transfer the Fi Life policy to another person of choice with written consent presented to the Organiser.
  22. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value, at any time without prior notice. All prizes are given on an "As is" basis and are not exchangeable or sold for cash, credit, other items or voucher in part or in full and are non-transferable to any other person unless the Grand Prize Winner is ineligible after the underwriting process.

    23. ELIGIBLE WINNERS

  23. The eligibility to win the Contest is on the condition that Eligible Participants fully comply with the Terms and Conditions as stated herein.
  24. Incomplete entries and/or the failure to fulfil all or any of the Terms and Conditions will automatically disqualify the Eligible Participants from the Contest without prior notice.

    25. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNERS

  25. The Participation Prize winners of the Contest will be notified via email, phone and/or WhatsApp no later than 10 March 2021 or such other date as decided by the Organiser at its absolute discretion, to obtain an address for mail delivery of the Participation Prize.
  26. The Grand Prize Winner of the Contest will be notified via email, phone or WhatsApp no later than 17 March 2021 or such other date as decided by the Organiser at its absolute discretion.

    27. GENERAL TERMS

  27. The Organiser will not be responsible or liable for any loss in connection with the Contest, including, but not limited to the following:
    • Any problem, loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by any party due to any delay and/or failure in receiving and sending the entry as a result of any network, communication or system error, interruption and/or failure experience by the participating internet line and/or resulting from participation or the downloading of any materials in the Contest. In the event of such error, interruption and or failure, the Organiser will not be responsible or liable for any failure by any Eligible Participant to participate in the Contest at any time.
    • Any problems, expenses, damages, losses, suits and claims of whatsoever nature against any Eligible Participants that may arise from or in connection with their participation in the Contest and/or display of Eligible Participants' entries.
    • Any error (including error in notification of Contest winners), omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, internet line failure, theft, destruction of, or unauthorized access to entries, PC hang whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
  28. By entering the Contest, Eligible Participants shall agree to appear on the internet, in videos, photographs, write-ups which may be used in advertising (any form of media) or other materials by the Organiser. Eligible Participants shall not be entitled to any payment for such use, or for any re-use; and acknowledge that all copyright, including the right to reproduce likeness or image shall belong to the Organiser absolutely; and to release and discharge the Organiser from any claims in relation to the Organiser's use of likeness or image.
  29. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to disqualify any individual that it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in breach or potential breach of this Contest's Terms and Conditions.
  30. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  31. By participating in this Contest, all Eligible Participants hereby warrant that all statements personal details given are true, correct, accurate and complete and that they have read and understood all the Terms and Conditions of this Contest and agree to be unconditionally bound by it.
  32. By participating in this Contest, all Eligible Participants agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Organiser harmless from and against any suits, claims, losses, damages and expenses, including reasonable legal fees that may arise from or in connection with the Contest.
  33. The Organiser reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice and the Eligible Participants will be bound to such changes.
  34. Any Terms and Conditions applicable to this Contest which is illegal, prohibited or unenforceable under any law or regulation shall be ineffective to the extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions.
  35. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia.
